At the MEDHA (Materials for Extremes by Designing Hierarchical structures using Artificial intelligence) Lab, we investigate how structural materials deform, fracture, and evolve across multiple length scales under extreme environments. By integrating advanced manufacturing with physics-informed AI/ML, we design hierarchical structures across these length scales to develop the next generation of damage-tolerant materials.
